A Disposable Art Show

Hey everyone...

Remember when you were a kid and you got your first skateboard? It probably had some shitty graphics on it because it was a Nash or a Variflex? Then you got your first real board... it had cool graphics... maybe a Powell VCJ skull, or a Jim Phillips drawing on a Santa Cruz... you skated it, but always wanted your own graphics... well... I just got the opportunity to put all my childhood bitching behind me... I just got some great news from Joey at freedom fighter skateboards... I will be involved in this terrific charity event due to another artist having to pass, all proceeds from the sales of artwork will go to Princess Margaret Hospital so it's a win win situation.

Opening night and reception is April 25th at the Baitshop... lots of great talent, both local and international... here is a rundown of the artists involved:

Abe Lincoln jr.
Andrew Pommier
Alan C. Wood
Chris Mendoza
Doublenaut
Dave The Chimp
Pure Evil
Drew Millward
Skam

Mini "Love Money"

4" x 4" paint and actual dollar bill on wood board.

I went ahead and made this based off my collage... It's tiny... just a little 4" x 4" on wood board. It was for the Spraygraphic 4" x 4" show, but I procrastinated too long and missed the deadline.

LOVE MONEY

Fooling around today with an idea I have had for awhile using my new Cintiq tablet (which is awesome... get one if you can). All digital... but may look into doing a gel transfer onto beech board.
